Rentstart provides financial assistance for eligible clients to help them set up or maintain a tenancy in the private rental market.

Rentstart assistance includes:

• Advance Rent – extra financial support for clients in crisis to establish a private rental tenancy (for more information view the Private Rental Assistance (PDF, 86KB)fact sheet)
• Rentstart Move – help for tenants who need to move if they become ineligible for public housing (for more information see the Rentstart Move (PDF, 86KB) fact sheet)
• Tenancy Assistance – short-term financial support for clients in rental arrears facing eviction (for more information view the Private Rental Assistance (PDF, 86KB) fact sheet )
